David Saathoff CPA, PLLC is privately-owned accounting firm located in Vancouver, Washington.

We provide a variety of tax and accounting services to individuals and businesses. Our clients are our most valuable assets. One of our goals when helping clients is to have them pay the lowest amount of tax possible. With tax laws constantly changing, our team stays on top of the changes to provide the best service possible to our clients. In addition, we have an online client portal to provide faster service to our clients.

Our Team

David Saathoff

Certified Public Accountant

David Saathoff is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Washington State University in 1969 and his Master’s Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University in 1983. He has been practicing for over 40 years and provides experience and accuracy to his clients. One thing that you may not know about David is that he is an avid outdoor sportsman and enjoys spending his time during the off-season hunting.

Kristin McMahon

Senior Manager, Certified Public Accountant

Kristin McMahon is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Kristin works with many small businesses and enjoys helping clients better understand their tax returns and assisting with tax saving strategies. She joined our firm in 2009. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Washington State University with a double major in Accounting and Management & Operations with a minor in Human Resource Management. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors.

Tammy Bredeson

Tax Preparer | Bookkeeper

Tammy Bredeson joined the firm in 2021 as the Office Manager, and has since assumed the role of Tax Preparer. She graduated from the University of Oregon and shortly after moved to Portland. Before joining David Saathoff CPA, she spent her early career days in a variety of positions in the financial industry and obtaining her Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses. In 2007, she moved to Washington with her husband and two children. She stayed home with her children and worked from home doing bookkeeping. Although she missed the corporate world, she would choose to stay home with her kids all over again. Once her children were in high school it was time to rejoin the workforce. Tammy enjoys all things fitness and has a CPT certificate through NASM. She spends as much time with her daughter and son as she can. She also enjoys dinner with friends, hiking, biking, and kayaking.

Karter Lindquist

Certified Public Accountant

Karter Lindquist is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Karter began working in public accounting in 2018 and joined David T. Saathoff, CPA in 2022. He enjoys working with both business and individual tax clients. Karter received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University-Idaho.  In his free time, he enjoys working on home renovation projects with his wife. He spends all the time he can with his wife and kids, getting outdoors any chance they get.

Lauren Cooper

Certified Public Accountant

Lauren Cooper is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. She joined our office in 2021. Lauren received bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration (Accounting) and Human Geography, both from the University of Washington. She completed her Master’s in Taxation in June 2022. Lauren has over 18 years of experience in various accounting roles. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their adorable rescue dogs.

Kristine Briner

Kristine Briner joined the firm in 2024 as the Office Administrator, and has since expanded her role in tax preparation. After working in the mortgage and banking industry, she was excited to dive deeper into the tax world and gain more knowledge on how to assist people with their individual tax needs. She is an organized and motivated individual, ready to learn from and help the team. Kristine enjoys spending as much time with her two sons and husband as possible.

Paige Stinson

Paige joined David Saathoff, CPA in 2025 as an Executive Assistant. Prior to joining the firm, she gained valuable experience in practice management and human resources within the medical field, following her graduation from Washington State University. She is dedicated to supporting the firm’s operations and expanding her knowledge of tax practices. Outside her professional life, Paige enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, and photography.
